SchoolTalk runs on Microsoft Azure infrastructure hosted in Australia, with encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls that limit who can see what. We are ST4S-certified, comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, and align our practices with the Australian Privacy Principles.
AI — Built with care
Our AI features operate on anonymised academic data only — no learner names, IDs, or identifying information. AI supports teacher judgement; it never replaces it. Schools are always notified and asked for consent before any AI feature is activated.
